Secure Side-by-Side or Stacked Containers

Our heavy-duty Shipping Container Bridge Clamps are used to safely lock containers together horizontally or vertically, providing a secure and stable setup on-site.

They are commonly used in combination with stacking twist locks (vertical locking pins) to reinforce your container stack by connecting the side openings of adjacent corner castings.

Bridge Clamps connect containers horizontally (side by side),
while Twist Lock Pins secure them vertically (stacked).

• Compatible with twist locks for stacking—adds extra stability but not essential if pins are already in place

How to Use:

1. Open the clamp by twisting the shaft until approx. 200mm gap between the grips.

2. Insert the clamp across two adjacent container corner castings (grip hooks inside the casting holes).

3. Tighten using a spanner at the center shaft.

4. Secure by tightening the lock nut against the grip to prevent loosening.

Important Safety Notes:

• Bridge clamps are NOT a substitute for twist locks when stacking—twist locks are still required to vertically secure containers.

• Clamps add extra reinforcement when used together with stacking pins, especially in windy or high-traffic areas.

• Do NOT move containers while clamped together. Always remove bridge clamps before repositioning containers.

• These clamps are purpose-built for container-to-container locking. We do not recommend or guarantee their use for other applications.
