The shipping container divider wall is the perfect way to transform a single container into two or more independent spaces, without making any permanent modifications. Whether you’re a self-storage operator creating multiple rentable units, a site manager organising different work areas, or a private user keeping tools and equipment separate, this versatile system delivers a clean, secure, and professional result.
Built for rapid installation, the divider wall features a robust powder-coated steel frame combined with a spring-loaded tension bar. This clever compression-fit design holds the wall firmly in place without drilling, welding, or damaging the container’s structure—ideal for preserving the value of your container and allowing for easy repositioning whenever required.
The moisture-resistant panel inserts are lightweight yet durable, making them suitable for most environments. Once fitted, the wall forms a solid, stable barrier that keeps each compartment separate and secure, helping you maintain better organisation and access control.
Available in standard sizes to suit 8ft, 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers, the divider wall is also compatible with our modular Insta Doors. This allows you to create a fully tailored container layout, from partitioned storage bays to individual lockable units.
Can the Divider Wall Be Removed from one side?
The divider wall is held securely in place using high-tensile compression springs, which apply constant pressure to keep the wall firmly locked within the container. The fixing bolts are partially threaded, preventing them from being over-tightened or manipulated in a way that could reduce the spring tension and create access.
The divider wall cannot be removed from just one side of the container. Even if all four bolts are positioned on the same side, you would still need access to both sides of the divider to remove it, as the centre section must be unbolted from each side during disassembly.
If you have concerns about all four bolts being accessible from one side, the divider wall can simply be installed the other way around. This changes the bolt layout so that two bolts are accessible from one side and two from the other, meaning access to both sides of the container is required before the divider can be removed.
