Important Installation Information: The air vent can be installed lower down on the shipping container if required. However, when installing the vent in a lower position, it is essential that the area around the vent is correctly sealed with a suitable mastic or sealant. Properly sealing around the vent will help prevent water from entering the container from above and running into or through the vent opening. Please ensure the vent is securely fitted and that the mastic creates a complete, watertight seal around the edges of the vent. Please note: The responsibility for ensuring the vent is correctly positioned and sealed during installation lies with the installer. Always check the seal after installation to ensure there are no gaps or areas where water could penetrate.
