Built to fit directly over the container’s vertical door locking bars, this lock secures both doors together and prevents them from being prised or twisted open. Installation & Use Guide

Installing the Cargo Door Lock

1. Choose the position
   Pick an easy-to-reach spot on the container doors. The lock should be able to slide up the locking bars to unlock.

2. Separate the lock
   Slide the two halves apart. Make sure the lock mechanism and holes face downward.

3. Fit to the locking bars
   Place one half of the lock onto each door’s locking bar.

4. Join the two halves
   Slide the lock halves together by inserting the smaller tube into the larger tube.

5. Secure the lock
   Push the lock together as tightly as possible on both locking bars.
   Press the locking button (or turn the dials on combination versions) to lock.

   Note: Minor adjustment may be needed to align the locking pin and holes.

6. Installation complete
   Your Cargo Door Lock is now installed. Store keys safely if using a keyed version.

Removing the Cargo Door Lock

1. Unlock the lock

   • Keyed version: Insert the key and turn ¼ turn clockwise.

   • Combination version: Enter the correct code and press inward.
     The locking mechanism will pop out.

   If there’s pressure on the pin, gently adjust the lock halves to release it.

2. Remove the key
   Turn the key ¼ turn anti-clockwise and remove (keyed version only).

3. Separate the lock halves
   Slide the two halves apart and remove them from the doors.

4. Reassemble for storage
   Slide the smaller tube back into the larger tube with holes aligned.

5. Store safely
   Press the locking mechanism and store the lock securely.

Combination Lock – First Use & Resetting the Code

To open for the first time:

• Set the combination to 0-0-0-0

• Press the shackle and pull open

To set a new combination:

(Combination can only be changed when the lock is open)

1. Insert the reset tool (supplied) into the hole on the side of the lock.

2. Push the tool in and turn 90° in either direction until it stays in place.

3. While pressing down on the shackle, set the wheels to your chosen code.

4. Remove the reset tool – the lock is now set to the new combination.

5. Scramble the wheels and close the shackle.

To reopen:
Dial your combination and press the shackle.
