STACKING CONE FOR SHIPPING CONTAINERS
Our Stacking Cones are designed to fit securely into the ISO corner castings of shipping containers, raising the container by 125 mm (12.5 cm) and weighing 13.08 kg each.
Stacking cones are strong, conical fittings manufactured from forged, hot-dip galvanised steel, offering excellent strength and corrosion resistance for long-term use. They sit between stacked ISO containers to guide containers accurately into position and keep them correctly aligned.
Unlike twist lock stacking pins, which lock containers together for rigidity, stacking cones are primarily used to create vertical clearance while maintaining alignment. Rather than rigidly locking containers, they align the lower corner castings of the upper container with those beneath, transferring shear forces and preventing horizontal movement during stacking or transport.
This makes them an ideal solution where accurate alignment, stability, and clearance are required without permanently locking containers together.
