Shipping Container Bridge Clamp
Shipping container bridge clamp is used in combination with shipping container twist locks to create a container wall, locked together both vertically and horizontally. The bridge clamps and twist locks make use of the container corner casting connecting shipping containers. Twist locks utilise the top and bottom holes of the corner casting, the bridge clamp utilises the side holes.
How to Install:
- Open the Bridge Clamp by twisting shaft until a minimum distance between grips of approx 200mm is achieved.
- Insert the bridge clamp across adjacent corner castings as shown, ensuring grip hooks are inside corner casting.
- Rotate the shaft to tighten grips using central spanner point.
- Tighten the lock nut up to adjacent grip to ensure the clamp is not easy to loosen.
Our shipping container bridge clamps are designed to allow a container on top or next two another container to be locked into place so it is safe and secure. These bridge clamps are not designed or tested for other uses and we cannot guarantee their safety for use for any other purpose. Do not move any container while they are locked together. Remove the bridge clamps and move containers one at a time.
